A Story That Found Its Way Home

Some ideas don’t arrive all at once.
They build quietly over time, shaped by conversations, shared values, and a deep connection to place.

Urban Nest Concept is one of those stories.

What started years ago as a professional relationship between founder Janaika Elders and interior designer Mixalis Khoury gradually evolved into something more personal. Through collaborations on projects across the region, a shared vision became clear. A belief in spaces that feel warm, layered, and deeply human. Spaces that tell stories.

While Urban Nest was born in Dubai as a curated home for European design, Lebanon always held a special place in that journey. Not only through its creative energy and cultural richness, but also through the strong community that had been supporting the brand from afar for years.

The idea to create something in Beirut was never about expansion alone. It was about creating something that truly belongs there.

Urban Nest Concept is a reflection of that intention. A space where the curation is more intimate, more expressive, and closely connected to its surroundings. Together, Janaika and Mixalis brought their perspectives into one vision. A blend of European design with a Mediterranean soul. A mix of textures, stories, and objects that feel collected rather than placed.

Mixalis’ signature style plays a defining role in the space. Known for his ability to create interiors that feel both nostalgic and contemporary, he brings in elements inspired by Lebanese heritage, the warmth of the 1970s, and a strong sense of atmosphere. His approach is intuitive rather than trend-driven, focused on how a space feels as much as how it looks.

For Janaika, Urban Nest Concept represents a natural evolution. A continuation of building spaces that go beyond retail. Spaces that invite people to slow down, explore, and connect with design in a more meaningful way.

Opening in Beirut, especially during uncertain times, was not without its challenges. But perhaps that is what makes this story even more important. It is a belief in creativity, in community, and in the enduring spirit of a city that continues to inspire.

Urban Nest Concept is not just a store.
It is a collaboration, a shared vision, and above all, a love letter to Beirut.
